Compassion
We approach every person with kindness, empathy, and without judgement. We believe in listening first and understanding before offering support.
Our mission, values, and commitment to serving communities
Community Chaplaincy Centre exists to advance the Christian faith by providing pastoral care through chaplaincy services. We believe that everyone deserves compassionate support, regardless of their background or beliefs.
Our work is grounded in Christian values of love, compassion, and service to others. We aim to reflect these values in everything we do, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all who seek our support.
We approach every person with kindness, empathy, and without judgement. We believe in listening first and understanding before offering support.
We respect the dignity and worth of every individual, honouring diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences.
We are honest, transparent, and accountable in our work. We maintain confidentiality and act ethically in all interactions.
We welcome and serve people from all faiths and none, promoting equality, diversity, and harmony in our communities.
We provide support to a wide range of individuals and organisations:
Our chaplaincy services are available throughout England and Wales. Our CPD training initiatives are primarily delivered in Birmingham and surrounding areas, reflecting our commitment to building capacity in the local region.
We work flexibly to meet people where they are, whether that's in person, by phone, or through other means of communication.
We believe in a holistic approach to chaplaincy that addresses the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Our services are designed to be accessible and welcoming to all.
We work collaboratively with other organisations and services to ensure people receive the right support at the right time. When we cannot help directly, we use our network to signpost people to appropriate services.
Our training programmes are practical and grounded in real-world experience, equipping chaplains and caring professionals with skills they can immediately apply in their work.
